That's for WEP. I don't think you need to do anything of the sort with WPA. You don't. We have a wireless router set up when we need it, to use WPA2 and fall back to WPA. Never have any trouble with any Winders people using it, and they _don't_ enter any hex code; as you say, that's for WEP.
